Bear gryills

Bear grylls 

In term one for camp we went to Hanmer Springs. At Hanmer springs my activity group had a go at the bear Grylls challenge. we had to build a hut out of wood/sticks we challenged the girls who can build a better hut. 

It took us about half an hour to finish. After we both finished we had to see who's was waterproof and who's was not when we tested it out we had to get a drink bottle and pour it on the huts the boy's hut was not waterproof but it was warm and windproof the girls hut was waterproof but it wasn't warm and windproof it was a tie and after all I had a great time at the bear Grylls.  

Something I learnt about myself...I learnt that before we did bear Grylls I didn't know how to make a hut out of wood/sticks. and I also learnt how to make a fire in a new way.

At the bear Grylls challenge I was scared because the teacher was saying that a storm was coming and I thought that he was telling the truth because it was really windy and cold and I have anxiety and I am scared of bad weather and a lot of wind.

My first game.At my first game of winter sport my team and another couple of teams where traveling to the back of the sparkling bright green filed.We walked slowly on to the long blue bus when I sat down the long blue bus started to move finely my team jumped happily of the bus.I asked my coach Nick what out team name was Nick replyed saying that out team is called the dynamite about 5 minits later the game started I was in striker with Riley the other team started they booted the ball straight away it almost went straight in the big white goal but Ollie saved it he was throw it to me and I dribbled it up to the goal and passed it to Nico and heeeee scored we all ran back to half way.We all where talking and the game had continued and the other team got a head start I went in for the takel and I got the ball off of the other striker I got the ball and I scored.The full time bell went and the game was over.

Discovery time sketching 

Today at discovery time I was drawing/sketching with Vanessa.I was sketching death,a puppy,and a ninja,3D house.

I used a growth mindset today because I was drawing a 3D house and I kept on falling but I kept  trying and after a little while I finally got it.

When I was drawing the ninja it was hard for me because I kept drawing the legs the wrong way round the legs were the hardest part of the ninja.Now on to the puppy the puppy was hard because I didn't understand the the face so I hate to keep on rubbing it out but I got it.Death was the easyist because it was all far apart and the puppy was all close together my favourite one was the ninja and death my 3 favourite was the 3D house and my last favourite was the puppy.Today it turned out to be the greatest discovery time yet but in the middle of the session Vanessa quit the drawing station

The cold lake shimmers in the warm sun.

Beautiful birds hum by my house as I walk out the door.

POPCORN

Popcorn 10/2/16

On Wednesday my class made popcorn. I heard the popcorn sizzling and forming in the machine and I smelt smoke like a breaking down hair dryer, it looked like the popcorn was trying to escape from jail. It was  exploding out of the volcano it was going everywhere. I see yellow clouds all over the floor, suddenly it stopped and Vanessa put some more nuts in the popcorn machine it started again. In my mind the popcorn is screaming in a triumpth voice “I can't believe I can fly”. Vanessa was taking bowls around the room the bowls were just full, I grabbed a handful and I shove it in my mouth. It is crunchy and as I finish the popcorn I noticed that it’s stuck in my the teeth.
